From the North or South on I-5:

Take the Mercer St. exit (#167). Going southbound on I-5, this exit is the second one after going over the ship canal bridge. Northbound on I-5, this exit is soon after the downtown exits and after passing under the convention center. Note that you exit from the left side of the highway when heading north. At the bottom of the exit ramp, continue straight going under the monorail and past the Seattle Center until Denny Way. Turn right on Denny Way, heading west towards Puget Sound.  DO NOT turn right on First Avenue North. Continue past it and get in the right lane. Once the road starts to curve, immediately bear right at First Ave West before the Bayview Lofts building.

From Aurora Ave./Hwy 99:

Heading north on Aurora, exit at the Western Ave. ramp just before the Battery St. tunnel. Bear left onto Western at the end of the ramp, and continue north in the right lane. Cross on to the curving end of Denny/continuation of Western, and immediately bear right at First Ave West before the Bayview Lofts building. Heading south on Aurora, go over the Aurora bridge and continue for a short distance. Watch for signs for the Seattle Center. Exit on to Denny Way just before the Battery St. tunnel. After exiting to Denny, turn right at the Shell gas station and head west towards Puget Sound. Go under the monorail and past the south side of Seattle Center, then past a second Shell gas station. Once the road starts to curve, immediately bear right at First Ave West before the Bayview Lofts building.

From 15th Ave. NW (Ballard)/Elliot Ave. heading south:

After passing under the Magnolia bridge ramp, watch for a left turn lane to Mercer Place. This is after several fast food restaurants on your left. Bear left, go up a short but steep hill, and head east several blocks. Turn right on First Avenue West, and go 3 blocks. Another option is to continue on Elliot to the corner of Harrison, and turn left at the light. Turn right on First Ave. West.
